• Up to $100,000 Medical Expense Coverage for eligible medical cost resulting from a covered accident or sudden illness that occurs while traveling. This also includes up to $500 for emergency dental treatment incurred during a trip. GlobalHealth Plus is designed to help cover expenses that may not be fully covered, or covered at all, by a primary health insurance plan – especially abroad.
• Trip Interruption Coverage if your trip is cut short due to a covered reason after departure. Provides up to $500 reimbursement for eligible unused, prepaid travel arrangements, such as airfare, lodging, or other booked expenses that cannot be recovered.
• Trip Delay Coverage should your travel be delayed due to a covered reason. If the delay results in unplanned expenses, this benefit provides up to $150 per day (for a maximum of $500) reimbursement for reasonable additional costs incurred during the delay such as hotel accommodations, meals, and local transportation.
• Baggage Delay Coverage if your checked baggage is delayed. This benefit provides up to $100 reimbursement for the purchase of essential personal items needed during the delay.
